Yard Waste

Yard waste pickup will be every Monday, starting Monday, April 6^th until November 2^nd.  Yard waste (grass clippings, flowers, leaves etc.) shall be placed in paper yard bags by the curb.  Do not use plastic bags.  After October 30^th, rake leaves only to the curb for the City to vacuum.  There is no leaf pickup in the spring.  Do not mow grass clippings into the street.

Brush & tree limb pickup also starts April 6^th.  Limbs must be cut into 4-foot lengths and be securely tied in bundles not to exceed thirty (30) pounds or they will not be picked up.  Tree trunks & stumps are to be removed by the owner.  Excessive amounts of limbs will be billed an hourly labor and equipment charge.  Please contact the City Administrator to arrange pickup.  Contractors are responsible for removal of any limbs they cut; otherwise they will be billed for removal.  Brush pickup will end the week of November 2^nd. 

Bulk Collection - On April 25th, there will be a bulk drop off at the Public Works Shop at 1107 S Adams St.  Watch for more information soon!
